Fine Art Judaica : Our Artists : Marit Meisler (Designer)
Marit Meisler is a Product Design graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and The London Institute Central Saint Martins. After living in New York for six years, she is now living and working in Jaffa, Israel, where she was born and raised. Her work has been exhibited in the renowned Salone Internazionale Del Mobile in Milan and in the Felissimo Design House in Manhattan, among other places.
Marit founded ceMMent Design in 2006 and is now designing and manufacturing her creations. Prior to this she was freelancing as a product designer in New York, specializing in table-top products, furniture and lighting design. She taught at the Pratt Institute in New York and is teaching currently in Shenkar, College of Engineering and Design in Israel.
